House Rules
Hey there! We can't wait to host you during your stay in the heart of Amish Country! However, we do have to enforce some rules for the safety of our place (we take a lot of pride in it!) and to make sure we keep our neighbors happy.
1. All local Lancaster County residents must communicate with the host BEFORE booking.
2. The occupancy limit for this property is the same number of guests as your reservation at all times. Violation of this could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without refund.
3. No parties, no loud music, no boisterous behavior.
4. Renters will respect and follow all rules as outlined in the House Rules Section.
5. Renters agree to not contact the host until they have read the House Manual. Will be sent 2 days before arrival.
6. Smoking is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate $200/day penalty fee. ($200 for every day of the rental period).
7. Unless previously agreed upon with host, there is a $50 late checkout fee for the first hour and a rate of $100/hr for each hour thereafter.
8. No Pets allowed. $200 Fine if Rule is broken.
9. If by your fault of breaking any house rules causes a scheduling conflict with other guests, you may be charged the amount owing to discount or refund, said guest.
10. Repeated infractions of the house rules can result in dispatching of our security team for immediate eviction with no refund. This will result in a $500 penalty additional to any applicable fees.
11. Booking your reservation is your confirmation that you have read and fully agree to the house rules.

If you enjoy the Amish countryside, look no farther, this property is literally surrounded by working Amish farms. You are likely to see the farmers working in their fields and buggies passing by regularly. The town of Intercourse, with its charming shops and attractions, is a ten-minute walk from the apartment. The world-famous Sight and Sound Theater, The American Music Theater, Rockvale Square, Tanger Outlets, along with a host of other attractions, shopping, and restaurants, are all within a fifteen-minute drive.

This was our second stay here. The location couldn’t be any better with the Amish farms next door. Our day would start on the kitchen porch and end there as the sun was setting. Everything was available to make your stay comfortable. Will definitely stay if in the area again.

This was our third time staying at Raymond's apartment. We love the location, in the countryside with relaxing views of fields all around, but close to the town of Intercourse ( about a 10 minute walk.) The apartment is very well cared for, had had improvements since our last stay and was very clean. My only request is for cotton sheets instead of polyester especially as we become more conscious of avoiding plastics. Luckily, I knew to expect polyester and brought a large cotton sheet. Slept great! We bring our bikes and this apartment is a great location to ride from. It's a great place to stay!

What a lovely place! Nestled in the heart of Amish country, the home is surrounded by peaceful farmland. The view from the balcony is mesmerizing—you can watch horse-drawn buggies pass by, which feels almost surreal. It was exactly the quiet, relaxing escape we were looking for.
The space itself is bright, airy, and spacious. The location is also convenient, with easy access to local attractions like the Strasburg Railroad, Lancaster museums, and Sight & Sound Theatre. We even made day trips to Longwood Gardens and Hersheypark. Raymond is a wonderful host and was very welcoming and responsive. Thank you!

I’ve stayed in many Airbnb's and when we got there it was exactly what we had hoped for it was nothing fancy but it fits it’s surroundings perfectly my wife and I have been to Lancaster many times and wait to go back and stay on our next trip!
