House Rules

We are so excited to host you in the heart of Amish Country! We take great pride in our home and the serenity of the farm. To ensure a 5-star experience for you and to respect our working farm environment, we ask that all guests adhere to the following: Local Guests: To maintain the safety of our community, local Lancaster County residents must contact the host for approval prior to booking. Occupancy & Visitors: The occupancy limit is strictly limited to the number of guests on your reservation. Unregistered guests are not permitted on the property at any time. Farm Serenity (Quiet Hours): This is a peaceful, working farm. We ask that you respect our neighbors and hosts by avoiding loud music, parties, or boisterous behavior. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Communication: To ensure we can serve you best, please review the House Manual (sent 2 days prior to arrival) before reaching out with standard operational questions. No Smoking or Vaping: Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the home. A penalty of $200 per day of the reservation will be applied for any violations to cover professional deep cleaning. No Pets: To keep our home allergen-free and out of respect for the farm animals on-site, we have a strict no-pet policy. Unauthorized pets will result in a $200 fine. Check-Out: Prompt checkout by 11:00 AM is essential for our cleaning team to prepare for the next guest. Late checkouts without prior approval will incur a fee of $50 for the first hour and $100 for each subsequent hour. Liability: Guests agree to follow all rules. If a rule violation results in a refund or discount for a subsequent guest (due to smoke odor, damage, or late checkout), the responsible party will be charged for those costs. Eviction Policy: Serious or repeated infractions may result in immediate eviction without a refund, including a $500 security dispatch fee. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these house rules. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our farm retreat beautiful!

We enjoyed the grounds and looking at all of the flowers in the greenhouse and we saw chickens, rooster and a baby calf. We will be back when the farm is in full bloom

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful flower farm! The home was impeccably clean, spacious, and clutter-free, which created the perfect peaceful environment for our family to truly disconnect and spend quality time together. It had all the basic amenities we needed and then some. The views were absolutely breathtaking and the grounds are just gorgeous. Even though not all the flowers were in full bloom during our stay, the site was still a stunning sight to see. The location was perfect for us—very close to plenty of restaurants, markets, and gas stations. It was also an easy trip to see the Joshua show at Sight & Sound. Both the host and the property owners were extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a beautiful flower arrangement as a center piece for the table which really highlights the attention to small details. The land and nature surrounding the place was beautiful.

The Convenience of a Car A car is the most recommended way to enjoy the region. We are located just minutes from Route 30 (Lincoln Highway), making it a breeze to reach: Lancaster City & Sight & Sound: 25–30 minutes. Longwood Gardens: 20 minutes. Intercourse & Bird-in-Hand: 15–20 minutes. Note on Road Sharing: Because we are in Amish Country, you will share the local backroads with horse-drawn buggies. Please drive slowly and give them plenty of space! The Parkesburg Amtrak Station (1 mile away) One of the best-kept secrets of our location is the Parkesburg Amtrak Station, located just a few minutes from the farm. Philadelphia Day Trip: Catch the Keystone Service for a direct, stress-free 50-minute ride into Philadelphia's 30th Street Station. Lancaster & Harrisburg: Head west for a quick 20-minute train ride into the heart of Lancaster. Rideshare & Taxis While Uber and Lyft operate in the area, pickup times can be longer than in a major city (often 15–20 minutes). If you have a specific event time at Sight & Sound or a dinner reservation, we recommend scheduling your ride in advance through the app. Walkability While you are welcome to stroll the main trails of our flower farm, the surrounding area is rural with no sidewalks. A vehicle or bicycle is necessary for errands or visiting local shops and restaurants.
